Animatic Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaa-!

Changed the dialogue for the greater good; hopefully it won't kill me in the end.

(And I don't know why the video is stretched out of proportion. It makes me sad deep inside.)

Dialogue choice YEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAA-!

So, I have yet to get the full audio of my dialogue, but here are the parts of it. It will be based on this comic:
CSI Miami Cheese

And this video:
YEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH

So, YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA-!

Newcomers! Yeah!

So for the final project in this class, I've got to choose one of these two lovely characters to hate when I'm animating at 2 in the morning. Since I still haven't decided at this point, I'm just going to put up reference sheets of both of them.

Starting with Pikachu:

I love Pikachu. The upsides of animating her (my version is a her) is that she is a lot of fun and has a outgoing, happy-go-lucky, little star with moves like Swagger. Downside is that she is hard to divvy into puppet parts.

And then there is the Wiz of KOz.

She also has a fun-loving personality with an affected swag. Can't say I have any dialogue ideas like I have with Pikachu, but on the plus side, she can be easily split into parts (seeing that she is very geometrical).

So I dunno at this point. Hopefully I can arrive at some decision within the next 24 hours.

The Origin of Love: Kinetic Typography edition

And here's the final product of much labor-intensive labor. Behold my brain child!

("Origin of Love" belongs to Hedwig and the Angry Inch. All due respect to them.)

This is before the Origin of Love (animation)

The animatic, that is.
Love the beginning of this song - it reminds me of the start of some ancient legend.

Myth of Sisyphusaurus DONE

a.k.a. Between a Rock and a Chub-face.

Here is the roughly-finished version of my frame-by-frame animation project. Check it out!

Fun fact: Myth of Sisyphusaurus gets its name from the story Myth of Sisyphus, which is about a man who pushes a rock up a hill every day.

Myth of Sysiphusaurus Rough

Here is the rough animation of Chubby trying to move a much larger boulder.

Kudos to you if you know who Sysiphus is.

Anyhow, kick back, relax, and enjoy the show!

This production is copyrighted by Dane Sethi and Karen Zhou because we said so. Also, kudos to those who made the sound effects in the film - especially Riot and Rek'Sai. We love you, Rek'Sai. <3
